Thelma E. (Melchiorre) Tornetta

Thelma (Melchiorre) Tornetta passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Paoli Hospital Paoli. She was 86. Mrs. Tornetta was a resident of King of Prussia PA. She worked part time for the former Gimbles Department Store in King of Prussia, PA. Thelma was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA. She was a graduate of Upper Merion High School.Born in King of Prussia, PA on November 14, 1924, she was a daughter of the late John and Lena (Mattiola) Melchiorre. Surviving is her loving family including her husband of 62 years, Frank Tornetta; three sons: Charles Tornetta and his wife, Jennifer of Sayersville, NJ, John J. Tornetta of Wayne, PA and Frank M. Tornetta and his wife, Monica of Malvern, PA; five grandchildren: Jennifer, Brad, Denise, Christine and Kelly; a step-grandchild, Paul; five great-grandchildren: Justin, Samantha, Bella, Michael and Italia; a sister, Mary Camarda of King of Prussia, PA; and many nephews and nieces. Funeral services and interment will be private at the request of the family.
