Theresa Helen Seiders

Theresa Helen (nee Cilio) Seiders passed away peacefully on February 14, 2024 at her residence in Bridgeport, PA surrounded by her loving family. She was 88 years old. Theresa was a longtime resident of Bridgeport, PA with her beloved husband of almost 70 years, Lester M. Seiders. Theresa and Lester were very active members of their community. She was a member of the former Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and Sacred Heart Church, a life member of Bridgeport Fire Co. #1, and a former den mother of Troop 222. Before retirement, Theresa worked as a secretary for the Upper Merion School District for many years. She really enjoyed reading, crocheting, and camping; but most of all she enjoyed being with her family.

Born in Bridgeport, PA on September 20, 1935, Theresa was a daughter of the late Enrico "Henry" and Mary (nee Lombardino) Cilio.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Denise T. Seiders and Robyn L. Bougon and her husband, Ted; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer Seiders, Michael Seiders, Melissa Seiders, Shelby Bougon, and Colby Bougon; 6 great grandchildren, Brandon Frederick, Breana Seiders, Aliyah McCray, Scarlett Gemberling, Dominic Seiders, and Lilah Seiders; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her son, Lester M. Seiders; daughter, Rachel M. Seiders; and her 9 siblings, Mary Chendorain, Philomena Pishock, Margaret Campbell, Millie Cilio, Sammy Cilio, Ann Pasquael, Henry Cilio, Michael Cilio, and Rose McCall.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Theresa’s viewing on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 9:30-11:00am, with her Prayer Service beginning at 11am, all at the Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd. 805 DeKalb St. Bridgeport, PA 19405. Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Ambler, PA.
