Theresa E. Marconi

Theresa Eleanor (Granese) Marconi passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 14, 2026 at Brightview Senior Living in E. Norriton, PA. She was 101 years old. She was a lifelong resident of Bridgeport, PA until moving to Brightview in the more recent years. Theresa was a devout Catholic and member of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church and Sacred Heart Church, both in Bridgeport. She was a fiercely strong, independent woman. After the sudden passing of her first husband, she devoted her life to raising her two sons as a single mother. Providing for them was everything to her.

Born in Bridgeport on May 20, 1925, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Danny and Emilia (Volpe) Granese, who both immigrated from Italy. Theresa was a loving wife and was preceded in death by her first husband, Stephen Niksa, who passed away in 1956, and her second husband, Samuel Anthony Marconi, who passed away in 1991.

Theresa is survived by her loving family including her two sons, Gregory J. Niksa and his wife, Ellen Warner Niksa, and Steven Niksa and his wife, Ellen; step-son, Thomas Marconi; step-daughter, Nancy Marconi; 10 grandchildren, Bond Reinhardt, Stephen Niksa, Hope Reinhardt, Marcus Niksa, Ryan Niksa, Matthew Niksa, Kyle McGowan (David), Kristen Grietzer (Shawn), Laura Marconi, and KaraLee Dipollito (Phil); six great grandchildren, Grace Sarringer and Daniel McGowan, Shane Marconi, Brayden Dipollito, Graysen Dipollito, and Ava Dipollito; her brother, Joseph Granese (Mary Louise); her sister, Eleanor Genuardi (Salvatore); as well as many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her step-daughter, Peggy Smith; three brothers, Salvatore Granese, Ernest Granese, and Ferdinando Granese; two sisters, Angelina Granese and Virginia Granese.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, June 27, 2026 from 9:30am to 10:20am at Sacred Heart Church, 120 Jefferson St. Bridgeport, PA 19405. Her Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30am. Inurnment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.
