Theresa (Yacovelli) Ridge

Theresa P. (Yacovelli) Ridge went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 28, 2014. She was a resident at the Gwynedd Square Nursing Center in Lansdale, PA. Prior to that she lived in Pottstown and was a long-time Norristown resident. She was a graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls and later worked as a fabricator for JP Products. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Norristown, PA, where she was active with the Ladies of St. Francis. Theresa enjoyed going to the casino and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Born in Norristown, PA on March 14, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Pete and Connie (DeOrzio) Yacovelli. She was the wife of the late Raymond T. Ridge Jr., who died in 2004. Surviving is her loving family including three sons: William (Linda Diehl) Ridge of Norristown, PA, Raymond T. (Margaret) Ridge, III of Lansdale, PA and Michael (Kristen) Ridge of Pottstown, PA; two daughters, Connie (Ken Spafford) Murray of North Wales, PA and Danielle Luckenbill of Norristown, PA; nine grandchildren: Bobbie Jo Luckenbill, Nicole, Scott, Mikayla, Gavin, Mia, Kyra and Kaitlin Ridge and Raelynne Kelly; five great-grandchildren; a brother, William (Charlotte) Yacovelli; and many other loving family members. She was preceded in death by a brother, Anthony Yacovelli. Relatives & friends are invited to Theresa's Funeral Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 600 Hamilton St., Norristown, PA on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 10:30 am. Her viewings will be Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, at The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA; also Thursday morning from 9:30 to 10:20 am, at the church.
