Theresa M. (Storti) Rogers

Theresa M. (Storti) Rogers passed away peacefully on Friday, March 11, 2011 at Mercy Suburban Hospital in E. Norriton, PA. She was 71. Mrs. Rogers, a homemaker, was a resident of Bridgeport, PA. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bridgeport, PA, where she was annual feast worker. Theresa loved spending time with her grandchildren.Born in Swedesburg, PA on September 8, 1939, she was a daughter of the late G. Nicholas and Catherine (Logan) Storti. She was the wife of the late Orville L. "Rod" Rogers, who died in 1986.Surviving is her loving family including a daughter, Kathleen M. Herman of King of Prussia, PA; three grandchildren: Valerie, Frankie and his fiancée, Christine and Alessia; five great-grandchildren: Frank, Savannah, Jenavene, Preston and Crew; two brothers, Samuel "Sonny" Storti and his wife, Katie of Norristown, PA and Nick Storti of Bridgeport, PA; five sisters: Florence "Dolly" Sutton and her husband, Jack of King of Prussia, PA, Dolores Strycharz and her husband, Sonny of Fairview Village, PA, Rose Marie Fiorentino of E. Norriton, PA, Clara Brindisi and her husband, Dennis of Lansdale, PA and Carmella Morrison and her husband, Marty of E. Norriton, PA; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lucy. Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 10:30am. Her viewing will be Tuesday morning from 9 to 10:20am, at the church. Interment in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Theresa's memory to the Montgomery County SPCA, 19 E. Ridge Pike, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
