Theresa “Tracy” A. Marx passed away peacefully on Friday, January 17, 2025 at AristaCare Meadow Springs in Plymouth Meeting, PA surrounded by her loving parents and siblings. She was 58 years old. Tracy was a resident of King of Prussia, PA and a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church.
Born in Washington, DC on August 2, 1966, she was a daughter of John P. and Florence A. (nee Claney) Marx. Tracy’s life was a testament to the beauty of unconditional love and the strength of the human spirit. Tracy was cherished and cared for most of her life by her devoted parents.
Tracy thrived being at the center of her family and friends. She loved parties, her church community, and her workshop programs. She made lasting friendships wherever she was. She was surrounded by love, support, and laughter, always bringing people together with her warmth and generous spirit. Tracy shared a special bond with her siblings who considered her the heart of the family. Tracy adored her nieces and nephews, who held a special place in her heart and loved her deeply in return.
In her later years, Tracy found a second family in the caregivers and friends she met at AristaCare. The staff and fellow residents embraced her with compassion, and the relationships she developed there were a source of great comfort for her. Tracy’s presence was a blessing, and she will be deeply missed by everyone whose lives she touched.
In addition to her parents, Tracy is survived by two brothers, Christopher Oehler-Marx (Linda) and Kevin Marx; her sister, Katherine Cieszkowski (Jeff); 7 nieces and nephews, Whitman Oehlermarx (Therez), Sage Oehler-Marx, Jacob Cieszkowski (Emily), Emma Cieszkowski, Grace Cieszkowski, Matthew Cieszkowski, and Teresa “Tess” Cieszkowski; a great nephew, Zayn Oehlermarx; as well as many extended family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Tracy’s viewing on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd. King of Prussia, PA 19406 from 9am to 10:15am. Eulogy will begin at 10:20am and her Funeral Mass at 10:30am. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, W. Conshohocken, PA.
