Thomas Wesley Bowers Thomas Wesley Bowers passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 27, 2013. He was 76. Lifelong resident of Philadelphia and son of the late Thomas and Amanda (Rivers) Bowers beloved husband of the late Joan C. (Flail) Bowers, father of Thomas F. Bowers (Meg) and Christine R. Stotesbury (James), and endearing grandfather to Joseph J. Pelensky and Brandon T. Bowers. Thomas served in the U.S. Army was an avid fisherman, crabber, and hunter who loved being in the outdoors. He is one of the founding members of the Okome Bow Hunters Club and especially enjoyed spending time away with his family and friends. Memorial service will be held at St. David’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 9169 Academy Road, Phila, 19114, Thursday January 31, 2013 at 6 PM. Interment will be on Friday February 1, 2013 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery.
