Thomas P. Caslin, 77, passed away on April 28, 2022 at Sanatoga Center Nursing Home, Pottstown, Pa. He was born on July 22, 1944 in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Thomas J. Caslin and Dorothy Caslin Ross (nee. Thunhorst) He is survived by his wife Cynthia J. Caslin, of 31 years, ; 3, sons, Thomas C. (Lisa), Timothy P. (Michelle), and Casey C.P.; 2 sisters, Kathleen Neiderberger (Regis), and Dorothy Ann Auth (John); and 4 grand-children; Lauren, Reilly, Quinn, and Connor, and his loving family. Tom graduated from Duquesne University, where he played baseball and was a member of the Gamma Phi Fraternity. He pursued a career with AllState Insurance company, where he held several management positions. While there he obtained his CPCU designation and numerous other honors. He was also a member of the U.S. Army Reserves. Tom had a passion for sports. One of his great enjoyments in life was watching and coaching his kids play sports. He was a lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates, along with some Philadelphia teams. He was also an avid golfer, and turned that joy into the GHO Golf Tournament, which he hosted for almost 20 year. Tom also enjoyed listening to music ,and on the occasion attempting to sing; dancing, reading, chess and even chili cookoffs. He was always the life of the party. His infectious smile and storytelling would always draw a crowd. Tom, we thank you for your greatest story of all: the life that you lived with us all. You will be missed! Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday, May 4th from 10:00 am- 11:00 am at Szpindor-Meyers Funeral Home, 101 N. Park Ave. (Rt. 363 Trooper) Eagleville, Pa followed by a service at 11:00 am. Friends and family are invited to a lunch proceeding the services at Chadwicks Restaurant, 2750 Egypt Rd, Audubon, PA 19403. Tom really cared for others and his dogs.
