Thomas E. Cilio passed away suddenly on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Broward General Hospital in Fort Lauderdale, FL. He was 55. Mr. Cilio was a resident of Fort Lauderdale, FL and was previously of Bridgeport, PA. He was a former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA and came every year to the church's Italian Feast. Thomas worked as a dog groomer, who for the past year owned and operated the Pampered Pooch Salon. His pride and joy was his standard poodle, Bentley. Thomas loved the sun and hot weather, and all animals, especially horses and horseback riding. Born in Norristown, PA on August 17, 1956, he was a son of Angie M. (Cuono) Cilio of Bridgeport, PA and the late Henry S. "Sonny" Cilio. Surviving is his loving family including his mother; his sister-in-law, Deborah A. (Blair) Cilio of Bridgeport, PA; 2 nephews, Kevin M. Cilio & Andrew E. Cilio; a great-niece, Madison B.; a great-nephew, Dominic J.; his best friend and partner, Darin Miller of Fort Lauderdale, FL; and many aunts, uncles & cousins. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Robert L. "Bobby" & Henry M. "Mike" Cilio. Relatives & friends are invited to Thomas' Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 502 Ford St., Bridgeport, PA on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 11:00am.His viewing will be Tuesday morning from 9 to 10:50am, at the church.Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the form of Mass cards.Arrangements are by The Bacchi Funeral Home and Crematory, Ltd., Bridgeport, PA.
