Thomas Scott Collins, 81, of Jenkintown, PA, after a long difficult struggle with Parkinson’s disease, passed away at home on Thursday, July 8th, 2021 surrounded by his family. Tom was born in Philadelphia, PA, on October 28, 1939, son of the late Dorothy (Stunkard) and Francis Collins. Tom graduated from St. Joseph's University in 1962 and married Eileen McNichol in 1967. He had a long career in the metals industry as a salesman. He loved his family, friends, golf, scotch, music, and dad jokes. Beloved husband of Eileen; loving father of Elizabeth Grund (Walter), Joanne Collins, Scott Collins (Lilliana Vega) and Drew Collins; loving grandfather of Nikolaus (deceased 1992), Alexandra, Lukas, Madeline and Claire. He is survived by his three sisters Pat Willen, Sue Ciorletti and Maryann Collins, brothers-in-law Jerry McGovern, Phillip McNichol (Terry), sister-in-law Claire McNichol SSJ and preceded in death by his brother Michael Collins, sister-in-law Dolores McGovern and brothers-in-law Hank Willen, Bill Ciorletti and Paul McNichol. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A public visitation will be held 9:30 to 10:20 AM and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM both on Tuesday, July 13th, 2021 at Immaculate Conception BVM Church 602 West Ave. in Jenkintown, PA. Interment will be private at the convenience of the Family at St. Dominic Cemetery Philadelphia, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Michael J.
