Thomas Anthony Damiani

Thomas Anthony Damiani passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Paoli Hospital in Paoli, PA. He was 89. Mr. Damiani was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He worked as an upholsterer for Aristocrat Upholstery, formerly in Bridgeport, PA. Thomas was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church and the Upper Merion Senior Center, both in King of Prussia, PA. He enjoyed doing yard work, gardening and bird watching. Thomas was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Born in Bridgeport, PA on February 4, 1927, he was a son of the late Antonio and Assunta (Marcheggiano) Damiani. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 62 years, Lucy (Capobianco) Damiani; three sons: Thomas R. Damiani of Collegeville, PA, Donald (Martha) Damiani of Fort Worth, TX and Ronald Damiani of King of Prussia, PA; a daughter, Roseann (Rob) Endres of Phoenixville, PA; seven grandchildren: Danielle & Chuck Hawley, Nicholas, Anthony, Kaitlin & Thomas Damiani and Matthew Endres; two sisters, Jean (Mike) Guidas and Theresa (Charles) Figaniak; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by three brothers: Nick, Louis & Joe Damiani; and three sisters: Mary Vuotto, Louise Mattoza and Fannie Collins. Thomas’ Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 10:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Martin T. Cioppi, Pastor. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday from 9 to 9:50 am, at the church. Entombment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery Mausoleum, E. Norriton, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Thomas’ memory to the Dementia Society of America, P.O. Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901 and/or the Upper Merion Senior Center, 650 S.
