Thomas M. Dorman passed away peacefully on Monday, April 3, 2017, surrounded by his loving family at his residence in King of Prussia, PA. He was 82. Mr. Dorman worked as a Data Processing Manager for Union National Bank of Pittsburgh. He was a volunteer fireman in Carnegie, PA and was on the Carlynton School Board for 8 years. Thomas enjoyed the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Pittsburgh Steelers and going to Wildwood, NJ. Most of all, he loved spending time with his granddaughters. Thomas was a US Army veteran, serving from 1957 to 1959, before transferring to the Army Reserves. Born in Carnegie, PA on July 27, 1934, he was a son of the late Dennis and Rose (Nelson) Dorman. Surviving is his loving family including his wife, Frances (Smith) Dorman; a son, David Dorman; a daughter, Deborah Brady and her husband, Phil; two grandchildren, Eryn and Cameron Brady; a sister, Eileen Miller and her husband, James; a sister-in-law, Anita Dorman; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Dorman; and two sisters: Dorothy Talotta and Patricia Brill. Thomas’ Funeral Service will be held at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 132 E. Valley Forge Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 10:00 am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday from 9 to 9:45 am, at the church. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, W. Norriton, PA.
