Thomas J. Gallagher

Thomas J. Gallagher passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at his sister's residence in King of Prussia, PA. He was 75. Mr. Gallagher was a resident of Philadelphia, PA. He worked as a salesman for the Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. in Philadelphia, PA, until his retirement in 1992. Thomas was a member of Divine Mercy R.C. Church in Philadelphia, PA. He attended West Catholic High School in Philadelphia, graduating in 1952. Mr. Gallagher was a US Army veteran, serving from 1956 to 1958. Born in Philadelphia, PA on January 3, 1934, he was a son of the late Michael J. and Delia (Moran) Gallagher. Surviving are his loving family including three sisters: MaryAnn Whittingham of Haines City, FL, Catherine Lacombe of King of Prussia, PA and Margaret M. McHugh of Haines City, FL; six nephews: Joseph, Michael, John, Robert, James and John; and one niece, Karen. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Gallagher. Relatives & friends are invited to his Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 10:00am. Officiating will be the Rev. Msgr. John T. Conway, Pastor. Interment in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Marple Twp., PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Montgomery Hospital Hospice, 25 W.
