Thomas A. Skinner

Thomas A. Skinner, 74, passed away on Tuesday October 24, 2017. Thomas was a graduate of Bridgeport High School. He served his country in the Army and was a Vietnam veteran. He spent the early part of his career working in sales for Tasco Binocular Company, Centuri Model Rockets, and Hasboro Toy Company. Thereafter, he went on to work at Fleming Foods for over 20 years, serving as a Chief Stewart for 10 years of his career. During his retirement Thomas enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and traveling. He looked forward each year to his annual trip to Walt Disney World. Thomas was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 49 years Eileen of Jeffersonville, PA, his oldest son, Thomas M. Skinner of Coatesville, PA; his daughter, Lisa A. Butler and her husband, Timothy and grandchild, Evan of Wesley Chapel, FL and his son, Mark J. Skinner, his wife Kelly, and grandchildren, Tristan and Sophia of Eagleville, PA. Relatives and friends are invited to greet Thomas’ family at Holy Saviour Church, 407 E. Main St., in Norristown, PA 19401 on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 11:00 to 11:50 am, followed by his Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Officiating will be Msgr. Charles L. Sangermano, pastor.
