Todd “Chip” Brian Becker
Beloved son and brother
Todd Brian Becker, a longtime resident of York Pa, died peacefully in the early morning of September 2nd 2024 after a short battle with cancer.
“Chip”, as he was affectionately known, was born in Hanover, Pa on April 7, 1961 to Patricia Rogers and James Becker. He will be remembered for his huge love of animals along with being a devoted son, brother and friend to many. Before becoming paralyzed in an automobile accident, Chip was the owner of a landscaping company. Being paralyzed did not stop Chip from living his life to the fullest. He was an accomplished artist and his artwork was enjoyed and envied by many throughout the years. Chip will be remembered for his huge heart, from taking care of all of the neighborhood stray cats, squirrels and groundhogs, to the time he set up a small tent city for the homeless in his back yard. Chip was a hero to many.
Chip was preceded in death by his father James Daniel Becker and brother Demien Becker. He is survived by his mother Patricia Rogers and step-father Richard, his sister Andrea Hennessee (Robert) and his brother James Becker (Joyce). He also leaves behind two nieces Erica and Jennifer along with his pride and joy Mini Bean the cat.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
