Ursula A. Strunk

The beautiful Ursula A. Strunk (née Carr), age 80, passed peacefully on March 21, 2020. Ursula is survived by sons, Robert Strunk (Susan Ryan) and Peter Strunk. Grandchildren Patricia Strunk (Connor Hogan), Madeline Strunk and Great Granddaughter Livia H. Hogan. Ursula was born May 12, 1939 to the late Ann and Frank Carr. She was one of five, with four brothers (Francis, George, Joseph, Dennis). Urs was happily married to the late Robert H. Strunk. She was a strong and fierce woman who took “crap” from no one. She was very sentimental but would never let anyone see her cry. She loved to sew, making dresses; she loved to bird watch, sing while she cooked and was involved with her neighborhood. She traveled many places including, Costa Rica, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Canada, Italy, Hawaii and many other states. Practically every Sunday was dinner at “Grams”; she loved having her family over and making new memories every chance she had. Services will be private and held by Walter J. Meyers Funeral Home at St. Dominic’s church on Saturday, March 28, 2020. The private viewing will be from 10:00-11:00am and the private Mass will be at 11:00 AM. The Meyers Funeral Home will live stream the service for anyone unable to physically attend. The Live stream will be on the Walter J. Meyers Funeral Home Facebook Page from 10 AM till 12 PM.
