Victor J. Limongelli

Victor J. “Vic” Limongelli passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 14, 2017, surrounded by his loving family at Paoli Hospital in Paoli, PA. He was 80. Mr. Limongelli was a long-time resident of King of Prussia, PA. He attended Seton Hall Preparatory School and received his undergraduate degree and MBA from Seton Hall University. For over thirty years, Vic worked in Sales for Signode Corporation, which is now part of ITW. He was a devoted member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA. He was very active in the parish as a CCD teacher for 40 years, a Lector, and a Eucharistic Minister, and he attended daily Mass for over 44 years. Vic also was actively involved with the Malvern Retreat House, where he attended more than 40 retreats as part of the Pius XII Men of Malvern group, and was devoted to numerous pro-life causes and charitable organizations, including the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed summers in Ventnor, NJ, and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Vic also was a US Army veteran, serving as a First Lieutenant in the early 1960s. Born in East Orange, NJ, on October 4, 1937, he was the only son of the late Patrick Limongelli and Arlene (Rucci) Grande. Surviving is his loving family, including his wife of 54 years, Dahlia (Schettini) Limongelli; 2 sons: Victor T. (Karen) Limongelli of Sierra Madre, CA, and John M. (Jacqueline) Limongelli of Phoenixville, PA; 3 daughters: Patricia L. (Brian) Kelly of Exton, PA, Laura L. (Francis) Henninger of Forest Hill, MD, and Elizabeth L. Yates of Wilmington, DE; 15 grandchildren: Joseph, Nicholas, Brett, Matthew, Julia, Michael, Jack, Connor, Katie, Nate, Cole, Madalyn, Anna, Matthew, and Sophia; 2 nephews: Caesar (Rebecca) Fiorini and Michael Fiorini; and 2 nieces: Linda Fiorini and Luci Fiorini. He was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Stern. Relatives and friends are invited to Victor’s viewings at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA, on Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm; and at Mother of Divine Mother Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA, on Wednesday morning from 9:00 am to 10:45 am. His Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Martin Cioppi, Pastor. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery, King of Prussia.
