Vincent J. Bergandino passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He was 91. Mr. Bergandino was a resident of Bridgeport, PA. He worked as a teacher for the Methacton School District. He was a member of the former Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bridgeport, PA. Vincent was a US Army Air Force veteran of WW II, serving from 1941 to 1945.Born in Norristown, PA on July 1, 1923, he was a son of the late John and Rose (Branca) Bergandino. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 64 years, Mary (Virgilio) Bergandino; a son, John & Margaret Bergandino of Morgantown, PA; three daughters: Rose & Thomas Maczko of King of Prussia, PA, Mary Bergandino of Collegeville, PA and Josephine & Raymond Carnevalino of Oaks, PA; nine grandchildren: Mark, Christina, Matthew, Michael, Renee, Justin, Vincent, Raymond & Gianna; 1 great-grandson, Connor; a brother, Tony Bergandino; a sister, Ida Angelo; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert Bergandino and Frank Todeo; and a sister, Julie Marchese.Relatives & friends are invited to Vincent's Funeral Mass at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Worship Site, 502 Ford St. Bridgeport, PA on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at 11:00 am. His viewing will be Tuesday from 9 to 10:50 am, at the worship site. Entombment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery Mausoleum, E.
