Violet M. (Kovach) Kent passed away peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2009 at her residence in King of Prussia, PA. She was 81. Mrs. Kent worked as an administrative assistant for the Reber-Friel Company in King of Prussia, PA. She was a member of Mother of Divine Providence Church in King of Prussia, PA, the Upper Merion Women's 49's Club and the Upper Merion Senior Center, where she was a treasurer. Violet was an avid bridge player.Born in Mount Carmel, PA on March 26, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Steve and Helen (Repko) Kovach. She was the wife of the late Joseph F. Kent, who died in 2005.Surviving are her loving family including a daughter, Susan E. Petro and her husband, Michael of W. Norriton, PA; three sons, Michael Tweed-Kent and his wife, Patricia of Pittsfield, MA, David Kent and his wife, Gina of W. Norriton, PA and Joseph J. Kent and his wife, Candice of Phoenixville, PA; 15 grandchildren: Elizabeth, Alexis, Lauren and Nijole Petro, Sean, Shannon, Ailis, Michael, Christopher and Daniel Tweed-Kent, Joseph and Casey Kent and Victoria, Evan and Andrew Kent; 1 great-granddaughter, Acadia Marie Tweed-Kent; a sister, Mary Kovach of Mount Carmel, PA; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Kovach and 3 sisters, Alma Juhline, Helen Paulson and Eleanor Kuhns.Relatives & friends are invited to her Funeral Mass at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 10:00am. Officiating will be the Rev. Msgr. Joseph Murray. Her viewings are Friday evening from 7 to 8:30pm at The Bacchi-Courtney Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405, and Saturday morning from 9 to 9:50am, at the church. Entombment in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Violet's memory to the Michael J. Fox Research Fund for Parkinson's Disease, Grand Central Station, P.O.
