Virginia A. Eby

Virginia A. Eby, age 77, of East Norriton and formerly of Audubon, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Town Manor West in Norristown, PA. Born in Chester to the late Robert and Margarette (nee Duncan) Vanhorn. She grew up in Ridley Park, PA. Following graduation from West Chester University, Virginia taught elementary school at Grace Park School in Ridley Township and then taught preschool for over 30 years at St. Andrew Nursery School in Audubon, PA. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Benjamin F. Eby; daughter, Margaret "Meg" Boothby, of Suwanee, GA; and two granddaughters, Grace and Lily. Family and friends are invited to Virginia's viewing on Tuesday, December 18 from 10:50-11:50 am with a service following at 12 pm, all at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 2725 Egypt Rd, Eagleville, PA 19403. Interment will be at Westminster Cemetery in Bala Cynwyd, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew's Nursery School, 2725 Egypt Rd, Eagleville, PA 19403.
