Virginia E. Scalella

Virginia E. (Fauth) Scalella passed away peacefully on Monday, November 23, 2009 at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, PA. She was 75. Mrs. Scalella was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. She worked as a waitress for the former Gimbels Department Store in King of Prussia, PA. Virginia was a member of St. Augustine R.C. Church in Bridgeport, PA. Born in Philadelphia, PA on May 25, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Virginia (Kemp) Fauth. She was the wife of the late Albert Scalella, who died in 1991. Surviving are her loving family including a daughter, Virginia M. Holmes of Norristown, PA; five granddaughters: Kari-Marie Reyes, Tanya-Lee Chasar, Kristin-Danielle Holmes, Charleen-Ashley Holmes and Ginal Christina Holmes; many great-grandchildren; a brother, Emil Fauth of Cape May, NJ; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by a brother, Frederick Fauth; and three sisters, Mary Renner, Jennie Bell Wetzel and Agnes Kane.Relatives and friends are invited to her Prayer Service at The Bacchi-Courtney Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Friday, November 27, 2009 at 2:00pm. Her viewing is Friday afternoon from 1 to 1:50pm.
