Vito N. Moreno

Vito N. Moreno passed away peacefully on Friday, August 23, 2012 in Paoli Memorial Hospital, Paoli, PA. He was 84. Mr. Moreno was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He graduated from Plainville H.S. in 1947, attended Cheshire Academy, and received a BS in electrical engineering from the University of Connecticut in 1952. He began his career at Philco, and then worked at GE, specializing in radio and radar applications for the aerospace industry. He later operated his own company, Integral Industries in Lansdale, PA. Following his retirement from engineering, he worked for 19 years as a sales associate for Brooks Brothers. He was a longstanding member of the Order of Sons of Italy in America, Valley Forge Lodge. Born on August 2, 1929 in Derby, CT and raised in Plainville, CT, he was a son of the late Gaetano and Florence Moreno. He is survived by three daughters, Dr. Susan I. Moreno and her husband, Jens Schoning, of Woodbury, NJ, Jamie M. Romani and her husband, Brian Haentze, of Downingtown, PA, and Molly M. Seiler and her husband, Joseph, of New York, NY; seven grandchildren: Christian, Nicholas, Isabella, Francesca, Joe, James and Anne; two brothers, Vincent Moreno and his wife, Joan, of Farmington, CT, and Thomas Moreno and his wife, Jane, of Colchester, CT; and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his former wife, Judith (Wilson) Moreno. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Road, King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Friday, September 13, 2013 at 11:00am. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10 to 10:50 am, at the church. All are welcome. Interment will be private.
