Walter F. "Vic" Tarbutton Jr.

Walter F. Tarbutton, Jr. (Vic) passed away peacefully at Bryn Mawr Hospital on March 1, 2021. He was 76 and a lifelong resident of King of Prussia. He graduated from Upper Merion High School in 1962. He served as a Sergeant in the United States Marines from 1962-1966. Vic was employed by the U.S. Postal Service in Southeastern PA for over 30 years and during that time was also involved with Upper Merion Baseball Association (Babe Ruth) and King of Prussia Youth Football (Indians). Walter was born on April 29, 1944, in Rahns, PA to the late Walter F. and Alice L. (nee Judge) Tarbutton, Sr. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 57 years Donna E. (nee Frisco) Tarbutton; Brothers Paolo Dionsio and William Richards; Daughters Victoria Tarbutton and Christina Eyler; Son Michael; Son-in-law James Eyler; Grandchildren Jake and Clara Walsh (Daniel Walsh); Dylan and Lyla Tarbutton; and Dal Eyler. Vic cherished all the memories he had with his family, friends, co-workers, and neighbors. He knew everyone on the block (even their dog). He loved Philadelphia sports and listening to it on the radio. Vic loved doing yardwork and relaxing in a chair under his “Natty Light Tree” afterwards. He secretly loved Doo-wop and Rom-coms and never quite figured out the cable controller. He loved his time down at Walker Field and the many families he met there. If you met him, he remembered you.
