Walter John Tudor, 75, of Bensalem, PA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 13th, 2024, after a short yet courageous battle with cancer. He is now reunited with his beloved wife, Rose (Anastasio) Tudor. Born in Philadelphia, PA, on March 21, 1949, Walt was the cherished son of the late Pearl (Haegele) and Richard Tudor.
He deeply loved his family and cherished every moment spent with them. He is survived by his son, Michael, and daughter-in-law, Melissa, who brought him great pride and happiness. His greatest joy came from being a grandfather to his three granddaughters, Makayla, Myla, and Mia. Walt is also survived by his sister, Blanche, and several nieces and nephews.
Walt was a dedicated draftsman and engineer for over 30 years, he specialized in printed circuit board design. His meticulous attention to detail and passion for his work left a lasting impact.
Beyond his professional life, Walt found joy in many pursuits. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan and a long-time season ticket holder for both the Flyers and the Phillies. His love for sports was rivaled only by his commitment to his church community. Walt was an active and beloved member of Bensalem Baptist Church, which he considered his second home. His fellow parishioners often turned to him for help, as he was known for his quiet strength, humility, and willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need.
Walt was constantly active and took great pride in his strong work ethic. Whether working on home improvement projects, helping out at church, or staying fit through regular exercise, he remained dedicated and engaged in everything he did, right up until his illness.
Walt is predeceased by his wife, Rose, his parents, and his brother Richard. His memory will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love.
Family and friends are invited to Walt’s viewing on Monday, October 21, 2024 from 9:00 am till 10:30 am at the Hoffmann Meyers Givnish Funeral Home (1770 Brown Ave., Bensalem, PA 19020), followed by a funeral mass starting at 11:00 am held at the Bensalem Baptist Church at (3351 Richlieu Road, Bensalem, PA 19020). Walt will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Walter's memory to Bensalem Baptist Church (3351 Richlieu Road, Bensalem, PA 19020).
