Walter "Walt" A. Egner, Sr.

Walter "Walt" Egner Sr. passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 96. 

Survived by his loving wife Valerie, who shared 68 years of marriage. Father of Ann Marie, Walter Jr. (Maureen), Valerie Egner-Beck (Thomas), David (Anne). Loving Grandpa to Valerie (Taylor), Walter III, Anthony, Thomas Jr., Bryan (Kenadi), Stephen, Timothy (Meaghan), Mary (Tim), Caitlyn, Lisa and Matthew. Brother of the late Edward (Betty) Egner and the late Josephine (Tillman) Dooley. 

Walt retired after 35 years as an Air Traffic Controller for the FAA. He was an avid volunteer for over 20 years at Mother Teresa's house in Norristown, PA. Walt was also a member of the Knights of Columbus in Bridgeport, PA. Walt is now once again playing with his beloved pets, Sandy and Rudy. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing starting at 9:00am on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Mother of Divine Providence Church, 333 Allendale Rd., King of Prussia, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
