Wayne Patrick Mears

WAYNE PATRICK MEARS (AKA Lil Wezzey) a life-long resident of Philadelphia, PA, died suddenly on January 30, 2016, at the age of 18. Wayne is survived by his parents; Shanna Greenhalgh (nee Flood) spouse (William); Wayne Mears spouse (Denise); his Uncle Joe Flood; his siblings, Kylie Marie Greenhalgh, Hailey Mears; Aiden Mears and Landon Mears; his maternal grandmother, Debrah Gyurak, his paternal grandmother Nancy Mason and paternal grandfather John Mason, his girlfriend, Kaylin and his many aunts and uncles as well as cousins. Wayne was born in Philadelphia PA on May 8, 1997, to Shanna Flood and Wayne Mears.  He graduated high school from Phase IV Program in 2014. Wayne enjoyed playing football, baseball, listening to music and hanging out with family and friends.  He enjoyed hanging out with his dog, Blue, whom became a very important part of his life.  He had a lion heart.  He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Friday February 5, 2016 from 6-8 PM and a service at 8 PM at the Walter J. Meyers Funeral Home 6645 Torresdale Ave. Philadelphia, PA 19135.   In lieu of flowers donations to his family appreciated.
