Wendel W. "Skip" Brunner passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, PA. He was 65. Mr. Brunner was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He worked as a machinist for GE Aerospace (now Lockheed Martin) working on many NASA projects. It has been said that as a machinist, Skip could make anything that could be thought of, with or without a drawing. He also worked for Mastec and Upper Merion Twp. at Norview Farms. Skip was a graduate of Upper Merion High School, Class of 1963 and he attended New York State University in Cobleskill, NY. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in King of Prussia, PA. Mr. Brunner was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Era, serving from 1966 to 1972, where he was stationed in Germany.Born in Schenectady, NY on March 27, 1944, he was a son of the late William E. and Alberta Mae (Peternell) Brunner. Surviving are his loving family including his wife of 44 years, Patricia M. (Scully) Brunner; a daughter, Tina M. Keefe and her husband, Michael of Perkiomenville, PA; 5 nephews and 2 nieces. He was preceded in death by a sister, Suzanne Monteleone. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service at Trinity Episcopal Church, 966 Trinity Lane, King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Friday, January 22, 2010 at 1:00pm. Officiating will be the Rev. Kenneth Ornell, former pastor. His viewings are Thursday evening from 6 to 8pm, at The Bacchi-Courtney Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 and Friday afternoon from 12 to 12:50pm, at the church. Interment in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia, PA.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Skip's memory to the Bryn Mawr Hospital CCU, 130 S.
