Wesley N. 'Gig' Rigler

Wesley N. "Gig" Rigler, Sr. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, PA. He was 74. Mr. Rigler was a resident of Plymouth Twp, PA and was formerly of Roxborough, PA. He worked as a truck driver for Conicelli Carriage Trade in Plymouth Twp., PA and enjoyed going to the casinos. Gig was a member of St. Cosmas & Damian Church in Conshohocken, PA. Mr. Rigler was a US Navy veteran who served from 1956 to 1962. Born in Philadelphia, PA on February 19, 1936, he was a son of the late Raymond F. and Esther M. (Broghan) Rigler. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 45 years, Jane L. (Ravert) Rigler; two sons, Wesley N. Rigler, Jr. of Plymouth, PA and Garrett W. Rigler and his wife, Jennifer of Plymouth, PA; a daughter, Erica D. Stivaletti of Plymouth, PA; five grandchildren: Devon, Alexander, Garrett Jr., Grace and Jake; a brother, Ronald Rigler and his wife, Frances of Roxborough, PA; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond F. Rigler, Jr., and two sisters, Clara V. Szastynski and Emma "Dolly" Whelan. Relatives & friends are invited to his Funeral Mass at St. Cosmas & Damian Church, 209 W. 5th Ave., Conshohocken, PA 19428 on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 10:00am. Officiating will be the Rev. Gasper A. Genuardi, Pastor. Wesley's viewings will be Friday evening from 6 to 8pm, and Saturday morning from 8:15 to 9:15am, both at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Wesley's memory to the Hydrocephalus Equality Awareness Research United Society, 1121 Green Tree Lane, Penn Valley, PA 19072.
