William A. Hunter, Jr.

William A. Hunter Jr., passed away on Monday January 1, 2024 at WellSpan York Hospital in York PA. He was 73. William was a resident of New Holland, PA and formerly of King of Prussia, PA. He was an Accountant in the local area and was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in King of Prussia, PA

Born on June 9, 1950 in Norristown, PA, he was the son of the late Mary E. (Cory) and William A. Hunter Sr.

William is survived by his loving aunt, Anna Cressman and many loving friends.

Bill was funny, loving, generous and loved to make people smile. Though he could be stubborn at times, it was always for a good cause. He loved to garden and always felt joy in the holiday season especially with outdoor Christmas lights and making candies! Bill often enjoyed going on a cruise! Vacationing at sea brought him immense happiness.

Bill always had a way of making you feel important. He was kind, thoughtful, and patient through each conversation, to show he truly cared about you. There are too many examples of Bills generosity, from scholarship funds to donations and volunteer work on several committees, including one of his top priorities the Clinic for Special Children. Bill’s greatest joy was to give back to others. There should be more people like Bill in this world.

His Memorial Service will be held at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 132 E. Valley Forge Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406 on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in William’s memory to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 132 E. Valley Forge Rd., Kingof Prussia, PA 19406
