William Joseph “Bill” Bale passed away on Monday, January 9, 2017 at Einstein Medical Center Montgomery in E. Norriton, PA. He was 72. Bill was a resident of E. Norriton, PA. He worked as a supervisor for Markle Corp. in Black Horse, PA. Bill was a graduate of Bridgeport High School, Class of 1963, where he played basketball and football. He served in the US Marine Corps, veteran of the Vietnam Era. Bill was a member of St. Titus Church in E. Norriton, and the Triple S Club in Bridgeport, where he enjoyed playing flag football. Bill’s life revolved around his wife, Martha and his grandson, Steven. Born in Bridgeport, PA on October 19, 1944, he was a son of the late Harold E. and Florence (Brown) Bale. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 45 years, Martha A. (Chendorain) Bale; a daughter, Florence Marie Levenson and her husband, Marc, of Perkiomenville, PA; three sons: Joseph Patrick Bale and his wife, Christina, of Warminster, PA, Mark Bale and Scott Bale; one grandson, Steven Levenson; a sister, Betty Capobianco; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold W. Bale; and two sisters, Anne Marie Arrasmith and Patsy Heck. Bill’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Titus Church, 3006 Keenwood Rd., E. Norriton, PA on Friday, January 13, 2017 at 11:30 am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday morning from 10 to 11:20 am, at the church. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bill’s memory to the St. Bernard Rescue Foundation, 800 Elk Creek Road, Trail, OR 97541.
