William “Billy” Paul Walker, Jr. passed away peacefully on Monday, November 27, 2017 in Paoli Hospital. He was 65. Billy was a resident of Bridgeport, PA and a 1970 graduate of Upper Merion. He worked at Western Electric in King of Prussia and as a Pool Technician for Atlantic Pool Service in Wayne, PA for 37 years. Billy was a car enthusiast who enjoyed going to car shows and drove a 1986 GMC Cabellero. He collected antiques and brass figurines. One of his favorite things was to attend the Upper Merion football games with his father in law. Billy also loved gardening and using his expertise with his green thumb and took great pride in beautifying his home. Born in Philadelphia, PA on June 21, 1952, he was a son of the late Eleanor and William Paul Walker, Sr. Surviving is his loving family including his wife, Julia A. (Cornish) Walker; a brother, James Walker of Pottstown, PA; his in laws, Alice and Alfred Cornish of King of Prussia, PA; a brother-in-law, Michael Cornish and his partner, Marge Jacques of Collegeville, PA; two sisters-in-law, Michelle Maiale of Collegeville, PA and Suzanne Cornish and her wife, Carla Fioretti, of Hellertown, PA; three nephews: Ian, Jacob and Sam; five nieces: Stefanie, Alyssa, Kristen, Kelli and Nicole; many other loving family members, and his two furballs, Chessie and Chloe. There will be a celebration of Billy’s life at a later date.
