Mr. William J. Brannigan, age 87, of Tacony in Philadelphia PA passed away peacefully on February 15, 2022, at the Philadelphia Protestant Home. Bill was born in Camden, NJ on March 23, 1935, the son of the late Eleanor J. (Fitzgerald) and William J. Brannigan, Sr. He worked as a Clerk at RCA for 28 years and GE Aero Space both located in Camden, NJ. He went to St. Leo’s, Harding and Lincoln High School Bill was a lifetime member of St. Leo the Great Church in Philadelphia, a PGK for St. Leo's K of C Council #1294 and former District Deputy, St. John Neumann Assembly, a member of Color Corps, Past President of St. Leo Seniors, Past Vice President of AOH Division #39, Past Treasurer of Phila. Archdiocese Holy Name Society, Member of Men of Malvern in our Lady of Lourdes Group, member of Tacony Seniors. Bill is survived by his many dear friends and two Cousins MaryAnn Anderson (Greg) and Jackie Wagenseller (George). Relatives and Friends are invited to his viewing Sunday February 20, 2022 from 6-8 PM at the Hoffmann Meyers Givnish Funeral Home 1770 Brown Ave. (at Hulmeville Rd.) Bensalem, PA 19020. A second viewing on Monday February 21, 2022 will be held 9:15 – 10:15 AM and a Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM both at Our Lady of Consolation Church 7056 Tulip St. in Philadelphia, PA with Msgr. Phillip Cribben officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Leo's Knights of Columbus Christmas Basket Fund C/O Ed Kligge 3432 Fitler St. Philadelphia, PA 19114. His interment will be at Manahath Cemetery in Glassboro, NJ. Services have been entrusted to Walter J. Meyers Funeral Home and condolences may be made at: www.meyersfh.com
