William A. Breitenbach

William A. Breitenbach, 84, formerly of Tacony in Philadelphia, PA passed away peacefully on November 4, 2019 at Buckingham Valley Rehab & Nursing Center, Newtown. William was born in Phila, PA on May 9, 1935, a son of the late Catherine (Conley) and William T. Breitenbach. Beloved husband of the late Anna (McCluskey) Breitenbach. Brother in Law of the late Mary Nicholas, James McCluskey, Eleanor McCluskey and Edward McCluskey. He was a Philadelphia Police Officer for 21 years and retired in 1983. He was a member of the League of the Sacred Heart, F.O.P. and a former member of St. Leo the Great Church Philadelphia, PA 19135. William is survived by his daughter, MaryBeth, wife of Stephen Sytnik. William is also survived by 2 Grandchildren Wayne & Karli and 1 Great Grandchild Oliver and his sister Loretta McGinty and Sister in Law Frances Stratton. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM on Saturday, November 9th at St. Bede The Venerable in Holland, PA. Relatives and friends may visit with family from 10 – 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital PO Box 1893 Memphis, TN 38101. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery Bensalem, PA. Services entrusted to the Walter J. Meyers Funeral Home (formerly of Tacony).
