William Frances “Bill” Dalasio, 80, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on August 31, 2016 after a long illness. Bill was born May 21, 1936 in Upper Merion Township, Pennsylvania to the late William “Wally” Dalasio and Harriet (Czubernat) Dalasio. Bill graduated from Upper Merion High School in 1954, and served in the U.S. Air Force. He met his wife of 58 years, Margaret (Rayment) Dalasio, of Cambridge, England while stationed overseas. Bill spent the majority of his working career as a truck driver with Fleming Foods of Oaks, PA. Bill retired to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1996. He loved outdoor activities, and his hobbies included ocean cruises, hunting, deep-sea fishing, and firearms restoration. Bill was known as a loving husband and dedicated family man, with a great sense of humor, quick wit, admirable work ethic, and compassion for stray pets which he often took in. Bill will always be remembered for the generous and kind man that he was, and the impact he left on everyone he met will never be forgotten. Bill is survived by his wife, Margaret, and 3 children: Anthony Dalasio and his wife, Mary Barbara, of Clarks Summit, PA, Nicholas Dalasio and his wife, Dee, of King of Prussia, and William C. Dalasio of New York City, NY; his brother, Ronald, of King of Prussia, PA; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; as well as numerous nieces, a nephew, and cousins. He was predeceased by his daughter, Melissa Kengle of Landsale and his brother, Richard, of Phoenixville. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held in Bill’s honor at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, with food & refreshments to be served at Christs Church in Swedesburg afterward.
