William B. Finlan, Sr.

FINLAN WILLIAM B., SR., on Dec. 12, 2015.  Cherished husband of Kathryn J. (nee Rose), devoted father of Kathryn Mc Devitt (John), William (Linda), Jan Hopkins (Robert), Stephen (Delia), and John (Susan). Loving grandfather of 16; great-grandfather of 18. Bill served in the U.S. Army during WW II; was a member of the Abington Twp. P.D. for 25 years; and later worked as a crossing guard for Cheltenham Twp.  Family will receive relatives and friends on December 16, 2015 at St. James Church, 8320 Brookside Rd., Elkins Park, PA 19027 from 9:45-10:50 AM with a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.  His interment will be at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Sisters of St. Francis Foundation, 609 S.
