William Frank Geilfuss, Jr. William Frank Geilfuss, Jr., 83, of Glenside, PA passed away Sunday, December 3rd, 2017 peacefully, at Abington Hospital, Abington. William was born in Jenkintown, PA on January 10, 1934, the son of the late Helen L. (Canney) and William F. Geilfuss, Sr. and brother of the late Dorothy Bach & Helen Collins. Bill had retired from Bell Telephone, was a volunteer Fire Fighter for 60 years at Pioneer and Roslyn Fire Companies, a lifelong Light House lover, involved in many organizations such as Delaware Bay Life Keepers & Friends association, New Jersey Light House Society, National Light House Society and many others. He was a State constable in Abington for Many years and a Judge of Election in Roslyn. Bill was the widower of Lois Geilfuss and the loving Father of William F. Geilfuss, III (Theresa), Merritt and the late David (survived by Marta), and the devoted grandfather of Billy and Marta Mackenzie. Bill is also survived by his life partner Katie Moser and his best friend John Myers. Family will receive relatives and friends from 12-1 PM on Saturday, December 16th, 2017 at Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home 507 West Ave. in Jenkintown, PA. A Religious Service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, December 16th at Joseph J. McGoldrick Funeral Home, Inc. in Jenkintown, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Maine Lighthouse Museum P.O. Box 1116 Rockland, ME 04841 or Even-Blitz American Legion Post #922 Spruce Cabin Rd. Canadensis, PA 18325.
