William F. Godshall

William F. Godshall passed away peacefully on Friday, January 26, 2018 at the Wayne Center in Wayne, PA. He was 89. Mr. Godshall was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He was a graduate of John Bartram High School. William was a co-owner of the Godshall & Perkins Garage in King of Prussia, PA for 25 years, and then retired as a manager of the Chesterbrook Shopping Center. He was a member of the American Legion Post 901. William enjoyed shooting pool, fishing, reading and he was a great story teller. William was a US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He served from 1951 to 1953 as an airplane mechanic and was stationed in Oklahoma and Texas. Born in Collingdale, PA on March 28, 1928, he was a son of the late William Frederick and Emma Frances (Richardson) Godshall. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 63 years, Patricia A. (Shine) Godshall; two sons, William R. Godshall and Robert M. (Michaela) Godshall, both of King of Prussia, PA; a daughter, Anne M. Palumbo of Collegeville, PA; nine grandchildren: William, Robert, Daniel, Katherine, Rebecca, Jacob, Dana, Michael and Justin; two step-grandsons, Claudio and Dominique Enz; a brother, John “Jack” D. (Evelyn) Godshall of Huntington Valley, PA; two sisters, Ruth G. Gauzza of Wallingford, PA and Kay G. (Nicholas) Kulokoski of Lancaster, PA; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Francis. William’s Prayer Service will be held at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 10:00 am. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday morning from 9 to 9:50am, at the funeral home. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, W. Conshohocken.
