William F. Goodman

William F. Goodman passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at his son's residence in Venice, FL. He was 74. Mr. Goodman was a resident of Venice, FL and was formerly of Norristown, PA. He worked as a mail carrier for the US Postal Service in Norristown and Eagleville. William was a US Army veteran. Born in Pitcairn, PA on February 20, 1938, he was a son of the late Harry and Eleanor (Hartsock) Goodman. He was the husband of the late Carole Sue (Jones) Goodman, who died in 2010. Surviving is his loving family including three sons: William R. J. Goodman of Norristown, PA, Paul F. Goodman and his wife, Kathleen, of Venice, FL and Thomas A. Goodman and his wife, Sarah, of Harmony Twp., PA; two granddaughters, Julia Rolen and Jessica Marie Goodman; three brothers: Ronald Adams and his wife, Peggy, of Tyrone, PA, James Broadway and his wife, Freda, of ILL and Dale Broadway of ILL; three sisters: Janice Hartsock and her husband, Bill, of Tyrone, PA, Beverly Irvin and her husband, Wayne, of ILL and Cathy Lamont and her husband, Joseph, of ILL; and many nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by three brothers: Carl Goodman, Kenny and Donald Broadway; and three sisters: Cheryl Jones, Paula Broadway and Linda Grove. Relatives and friends are invited to William's Funeral Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Friday, May 11, 2012 at 11:00 am.
