William Heaton

William Heaton, Age 79, of Norristown passed away peacefully on August 28, 2014 at Suburban Woods Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Norristown, PA to the late James Heaton and Florence (Cressman) Yost. He was also preceded in death by a sister Jean McCulloch. Bill was a heavy equipment operator and very involved in operating engineers Local #542. He was a former member of the Norristown Historical Society and he enjoyed photography as a hobby. Bill is survived by his wife of 56 years, Helen (Marshall) Heaton, 3 sons, William Jr., Christopher and  Mark (Fiancé Laura Fulmer). 3 Grandsons, William III, Robert, and Eric. 1 Sister Doris Heaton, and 3 Great Grand Children, Carmine, Delilah, and Nathan Fulmer. Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing from 8:45 – 9:50 AM on Wednesday, September 3 followed by a mass of Christian burial at 10 AM at Visitation B.V.M in the lower church located at 196 N Trooper Rd, Norristown, PA 19403. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Bill’s Name to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America located at 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001.
