William C. Howard, Sr. Obituary  William C Howard Sr, age 96, of Wilmington, DE passed away on September 27, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Phoebe Howard, sister Marion Reisner and brother Clarence Howard. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Betty (Catherine) Wheatley; their children William Jr of WY, Steven and spouse Suzanne of Wilmington, DE, Timothy and spouse Brenda of Florida, Karen and spouse Mark Shaw of Newark, DE; 6 grandchildren Jennifer Murphy, Rebecca Shaw, Daniel Howard, Matthew Howard, Jessica Shaw and Mark Shaw; and 4 great grandchildren. Bill served in the Army during WWII and retired from Sun Oil in 1977. He enjoyed traveling, woodwork and golfing.  Services will be private.
