William J. Kampf, Sr.

William J. Kampf, of Croydon, PA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 21st, 2023. He was 90 years old. William was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 2, 1933, a son of the late Sophie (nee Shannon) and William G. Kampf.

He was one of nine children, Margaret (deceased), Mildred, Sophie, Carol, Fred, Phillip, Leonard, and Richard.

William was the devoted and loving husband of Margaret Rose (nee Sharkey) Kampf. Before she passed away in December of 2022, they had been married for 69 years and shared a beautiful life together.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Margaret Fettes.

William was a life-long employee in the corrugated box manufacturing industry ending his career as a Plant Superintendent prior to his retirement. He was a devoted Catholic and longtime member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his son, William Jr. and his wife, Eileen; grandchildren, William Owen (Linda), Jeffrey Michael (Brigitte) and Nicholas John (Sara): great-grandchildren, Kaiya, Audrey, Madeleine, Aria, and Aiden.

Visitation and a memorial ceremony will be held for both William and Margaret and is open to family and friends on Saturday, December 9, 2023. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. and their memorial ceremony is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. both held at the Hoffmann Meyers Givnish Funeral Home, 1770 Brown Ave., Bensalem, PA.
