William Y. Lewis

William Y. Lewis passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, PA. He was 69. Mr. Lewis was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He was a retired Merchant Marine. William was a member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary for 33 years, and was a Division Captain. He loved boating and fishing. Mr. Lewis was a US Air Force veteran of the Vietnam Era. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 20, 1941, he was a son of the late William D. and Dorothy L. (York) Lewis. Surviving are his loving family including his wife of 26 years, Barbara R. (Deiss) Lewis; a step-son, William E. Harshaw, Jr. and his wife, Kim of Montrose, PA and a daughter, Kelly Lewis of PA.Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service at The Bacchi Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202), Bridgeport, PA 19405 on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 10:00am. His viewing is Tuesday morning from 9 to 9:50am, at the funeral home.
