William F. Raichle

William F. “Bill” Raichle passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Gloria Dei at the Park in Hatboro, PA. He was 89. Mr. Raichle worked as a pharmaceutical representative for the former Hoechst Pharmaceutical Co. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Gulph Mills, PA. Bill volunteered at Valley Forge National Park for 16 years. He was a US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving from 1950 to 1952. Born in Philadelphia, PA on February 21, 1927, he was a son of the late William F. Raichle, Sr. and Martha (Brackenridge) Raichle. Surviving is his loving family including his wife of 63 years, Mary L. (Skoskie) Raichle; two sons, Robert W. (Rebecca) Raichle of Enterprise, AL and David F. (Anne) Raichle of Charlotte, NC; a daughter, Jeanne M. Armstrong of E. Norriton, PA; six grandchildren: Jennifer, Nicholas, Thomas (Caitlin), Laura (Drew), Sarah and Susannah; two great-grandchildren, Billy & Caylee; and many other loving family members. He was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Mollie. Bill’s Funeral Service will be held on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 966 Trinity Rd., King of Prussia. Officiating will be the Rev. David Hyatt. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday from 9 to 9:50 am, at the church. Interment will follow in the church yard. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bill’s memory to Trinity Episcopal Church, 966 Trinity Rd., King of Prussia, PA 19406.
