William E. Ring, Jr., 70, of Jenkintown, PA, originally of Washington, DC, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2016. Loving husband to his bride Nancy (Fox), proud father of Jessie and her husband Andy, Billy and his wife Kathleen, and Tricia. “Pops” to his precious grandchildren Ellie, Conall, Maeve, Fiona, and Grady. “Baby” brother to sisters Hilda Mary Graham (Bob), Joan Nizolek (Ken), and Madeleine Gelsinon (Tom). Beloved brother-in-law of Mary and Jim Hesser, and Eileen Cooney. Loved by many as “Uncle Bill.” Former LaSalle University basketball player, subsequent coach and referee of countless youth basketball games, and known as the “Mayor of Maple Street.” Spent his career in education. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Saturday November 5, 2016 at Immaculate Conception BVM Church in Jenkintown.
