William R. "Bill" Stoy passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 28, 2009, surrounded by his loving family at his residence in Blue Bell, PA. He was 92. Mr. Stoy worked as a machinist for the former Alan Wood Steel Company in Plymouth, PA. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Center Square, PA. Bill was also a member of the United Steel Workers of America and the Senior Citizens Group of Trooper, PA.Born Norristown, PA on May 12, 1917, he was a son of the late Charles H. and Anna (Schmuck) Stoy. He was the husband of the late Dorothy Ann (Clemens) Stoy. Surviving are his loving family including two sons, David K. Stoy of Blue Bell, PA and James M. Stoy and his wife, Lisa M. of Jeffersonville, PA; 10 grandchildren: Deborah, Matthew, Leanna, Regina, James M. Jr., Peter, Sarah, Laura, Daniel and Benjamin; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Kathryn McCarty of Jeffersonville, PA; many nephews and nieces; and his long time companion, Mildred Weigner of Royersford, PA.He was preceded in death by a son, William R. Stoy, Jr., a grandson, William R. Stoy, III, 2 brothers, Charles and Edward Stoy, and 2 sisters, Ella Povey and Mabel Custer.Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service at The Bacchi-Courtney Funeral Home & Crematory, Ltd., 805 DeKalb St. (Rt. 202) Bridgeport, PA on Saturday, October 31, 2009 at 11:00am. Officiating will be the Rev. William P.
