William W. Walker, Iii

William W. Walker, III passed away peacefully on Friday, March 17, 2017, at Bryn Mawr Hospital. He was 73. Mr. Walker was a resident of King of Prussia, PA. He worked as a painter for Fennelly Associates. Bill was a 1962 graduate of Upper Merion High School where he played basketball, and he received his Associates Degree in Science from Montgomery County Community College. He enjoyed and participated in many sports. Bill also ran trivia contests at Peppers and other area restaurants for several years. He loved all dogs but especially Jean-Pierre. Bill was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam Era. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for his service at the Pentagon. Born in Bryn Mawr, PA on March 29, 1943, he was a son of the late William W. Walker, Jr. and Elizabeth G. (Graham) Walker. Surviving is his loving family including two brothers, G. Graham Walker (Patricia Swan) of Collegeville, PA and James M. Walker of King of Prussia, PA; a nephew, Scott Walker; two great-nephews, Brandon and Tyler Walker; many cousins; and best friend, Jill Maypole. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard C. Walker. Funeral services and interment will be private at the request of the family.
